My name is Ragnhild Johannessen. I started with breeding British Shorthair in 2002. First of all, I try to breed healthy offspring according to FiFe's breed standards for British Shorthair.
My cats live among us as true family members, and we love every one of them. I have a small breed, with 1-2 litters every year. My kittens are socialized with other cats, a dog, grown-ups and kids. Hopefully they will fit in with any family when they leave home.
I have make the decision to test all my breeding cats for hereditary deseases, such as HCM and PKD. All my cats also go through a health check every year, and ofcourse get their vaccination according to the vets recommandations.
I was the one that created Brittevennen, which was intended to unit breeders in a common forum. Because of discrepancies, only my best friends in the breeding world are now participate in the group. But I am proud to say that these breeders are the best, and I really recommend them.
